Advance, NC Day 3

Yesterday, we didn't do anything worth writing about. We just bought groceries and did laundry. Today, we took a walk around the park.

There is a little footpath around the edge of the park, in the woods. It looks like people with golf carts try to go down it, but they need 4 wheel drive golf carts to get very far. It rapidly turns to mud, roots, and ruts. Brie loved it.

About half way down the path, there is an small, old graveyard. We could only read 2 of the stones. The rest were worn down. Here are the 2 we could still read.

They are both from 1822. It's very small, so it is probably a family grave site.

After that, it was just a typical walk through the woods and park.

The park is pretty good. One of the better Thousand Trails park we have stayed out. The buildings and sites are kept up. We haven't seen the roped off, broken sites like we saw in Texas. The roads are bad, as usual. There is a dog park, but we haven't been to it yet. It is too far away for our morning walk. There snack bar that is actually open. The first we have seen open. The roads are the usual crap and need some work.

Other Stuff:

We heard back from Hisense about the refrigerator. They will send someone out on Thursday morning.
