We are moved in and unpacked.
We are mostly unpacked. Some stuff like pictures and stuff we won't use for a while are in boxes in the garage.
We have been on a furniture buying spree. We got rid of most of our stuff when we hit the road. That was fine while we were running around, but now that we have a house, we need a lot of that stuff again. This house is smaller so we don't need as much. We did buy a sofa, dining room table, a couple of chairs, and a guest bed/desk (it's a Murphy bed that has a fold out desk when the bed is up).
Lawn Mower
Another thing I bought is an automatic lawn mower. It's like a Roomba but for the lawn. It works ok, not perfectly. It gets stuck more times than it should. Luckily it texts me when it's stuck so I can go out there and move it away from the fence (usually). Today it got stuck on a root and in a hole.
It has a wire running around the house and yard to let it know how to get back to the charging station. Twice, it has cut that wire. When that happens, it stops mowing and says "Wire missing" and won't run again until the wire has been fixed. Another time it told me that the wire was missing, but all that had happened was that a little plastic door on the charging station had fallen off.
It's temperamental, but still less work that mowing the lawn for 2 hours in the heat
Beer Brewing
I've brewed 2 batches of beer so far. One was an amber ale that has been bottled and is just waiting for carbonation. The other was a stout (no maple this time) that is still in the fermenter.
We have been so busy with the house that we haven't gone out to any of the breweries nearby. There are 18 breweries and 15 distilleries around here.
