Today was a short travel day and this stop is a short stop, only 2 nights.
It's still smokey from the fires in Idaho and Oregon.
The landscape changed when we hit Montana. Wyoming was mostly dirt with large rock formations. Montana has less rock formations and it has a lot more pine trees.
It's a small world. We met our neighbors here at the park. He is going to Sonoma to take over as President of Cline Cellars. The previous President retired and then went to work for a competitor. Anyway, Jan's sister Dolores has a daughter named Lynette. Lynette has a good friend named Lindsey, who is married to Brian Birt. Brian runs a vineyard for Cline Cellars. Our neighbor knows Brian. It's very complicated, but there is a connection.
This park has nothing special going for it. I think the only reason it exists is because it is halfway between Billing and Bozeman. The sites are very skinny. Our awning almost touches the RV next to us. Brie hates it because it doesn't have a dog park. We only picked it because it was halfway between Cody and Butte.
I may not have any Montana pictures from here. They do have a prairie dog park nearby so we may go see that.
