Here is the resort mascot.
It's hard to tell in a picture, but he is about 3 or 4 feet long.
April is not starting out well. First, a warning light came on in the truck. It told me that the coolant was low and I needed to add some. I checked and the reservoir was full. That meant a trip to the mechanic. The sensor built in to the reservoir was bad and needed to be replaced. That was $550 out the door. The second problem was with the trailer. We have no hot water. I called an RV mechanic and he can't get out here until next week. I called the water heater company and they walked me through a bunch of diagnostics and said the problem is with the flow sensor and it needs to be replaced. They shipped a new sensor and it should be here on Monday so maybe by Tuesday afternoon, we will have hot water again. Until then, we are taking showers in the bathroom by the swimming pool.
I have my second Covid shot schedule for next Wednesday. This is actually my third appointment. The first was in Valdosta, GA where I got the original shot. It's 112 miles away so we looked for one closer. The only one that we found was in Jacksonville, and it's only 60 miles away so I made that one. It's a long round trip but it was scheduled. Yesterday, Southeast Georgia Health Service released their appointments so I grabbed an appointment from them here in Brunswick. Much closer than the other 2. Thursday is a travel day so I may be miserable with side effects while driving to South Carolina.
Here are some gratuitous cute pictures of Porter playing.
