This is a nice park, too bad it is bad luck for us.
Before I get into that, I added some new photos to the Georgia page. They are from our walk around Jekyll Island. Take a look.
Our first problem was with the truck. The coolant level sensor and needed to be replaced. There was one day shot.
The next problem is with the trailer. The water heater died. I talked to tech support and they decided the water flow sensor was bad so they sent me another one. It got here on Tuesday. I called an RV tech guy to install it. He said he would get to it on Tuesday but he blew us off. He didn’t get here until Wednesday around 2pm. Since he didn’t show up on Tuesday, I tried to install it myself. I got it on, but it leaked. All this guy had to do was fix the leak. He couldn’t. We paid him to make the leak less.
Anyway, the new sensor didn’t fix the problem. The hot water still doesn’t work. I called the manufacturer tech support. They said they had to discuss it and they would get back to me. They still have not. We gave up and bought a new water heater, but it won’t be delivered until the 12th. I need to find another RV tech to install it at Myrtle Beach. No showers until then.
In other news, Porter has learned stairs. He now has access to the whole trailer. He knows to use the pee pads, but if he is in another room, he thinks rugs are pee pads.
