It was a nice drive down the Oregon coast, and then we got to the RV Park.

Don't be fooled by this picture. That was a stressful day.

Let's just start with the pictures.

Yup. I took out a Toyota Corolla. The roads here are skinny, just wide enough for an RV, but not much else. Also, the sites are skinny and have trees. I was trying to go wide to avoid an aspen tree and the hook up stuff. The back of the trailer went wider than I thought it would go and it hooked a Toyota. The truck is so powerful, that I didn't even notice that I was dragging a car about 10 feet. I only stopped because someone was honking. Luckily, it is only superficial damage to both vehicles. I took off their mirror and scraped the whole side. You can see the trailer damage above. Larry and I pounded out the piece of trim and put it back on. We also pounded out that trim on the bottom so all you can see now is the scrapes. There goes my insurance rates.

This will give me something to do in Sacramento. I need to get an estimate and get scheduled somewhere to fix the trailer. That along with all the other stuff I need to do on the truck.

We have only been to this park with smaller trailers. I think we have outgrown this park. If you have a long RV this place takes 3 spotters to park. One for each side of the trailer and one for the front of the truck.

We spent all day talking to Larry and Dolores. For lunch, we went to Eureka and had lunch on the waterfront. We ate seafood on the deck and watched the boats going in and out.

We still haven't heard back from the RV guys who are going to redo the bathroom. If they want us to be there next week, they better call us and tell use they are ready. We need to make reservations.
