We're in Junction at the same RV park as last time. The only difference is that they changed the park's name.
This is the last stop before we finish up in Conroe.
We drove around a little just to check out the town. It looks exactly the same. We got BBQ from Lum's BBQ (Smokin' the good stuff since '79), we got donuts from the Donut Palace, and then saw the Horn Tree. That's pretty much it for Junction.
Texas is not a good state to be a deer in. One stretch of 5 miles of highway had 9 dead deer. Junction has one only grocery store but I saw 3 deer processing and taxidermy places.
The weather has gotten warmer. It's sunny and in the 70's today. Tonight will be the first time in 5 nights that we don't have to take the hose off at night so it doesn't freeze.
Tomorrow, we drive to Conroe. The last 300 miles of our full time RV trip. After that, we start the move from the trailer to the house. We have a storage unit, we will move what we can to the storage unit, and then on February 15, some movers will take what's in the storage unit and move it to the house. After that, we move everything else out of the trailer into the house and we go back to being people with a home that doesn't move.
