We are heading for Yuma for the first part of the winter.

We've stayed in Kerrville before at a different park. That other park is expensive and since we are just cruising to Yuma, we decided to stay at the KOA. It's not nearly as scenic as Buckhorn Lake.

As you can see, it's rainy. What you can't see is that the temperature is cold. The high today will be 39º. Our next stop is Fort Stockton. It's snowed there yesterday but it should warm up by the time we get there.

Before we left Houston, we went out to lunch at a little cafe near the new house, called The Tree House Cafè. It is a nice little place that kind of does look like a tree house.

It's not a place you would expect in a suburb. They have turtles running around by the front deck.

House News:

The house is moving along. We went over to look at it and we noticed that they installed the wrong tile in the kitchen. We told the builder, and he said they sent the wrong tile over to the house for the installers. We will keep watching the builder photos to make sure they put in the right tile.

The bricks are all up and we have a front door.

The outside is looking better too. They cleaned it up and graded the front and are getting ready to put in the driveway and walkways.
