Yesterday we went to the Space Museum in Titusville, not the one at Kennedy Space Center.
it has a lot of stuff from the Gemini, the Apollo, and the space shuttle. There are working launch computers from the Apollo days.
There is a tour of the actual space center. We may do that tour next week.
There was a rocket launch this morning. It’s a big deal here. Everyone in the RV park went to the driving range. It has the most unobstructed space around.
This is the crowd. We don’t have a golf cart so we had to park down the road. We are about 15 miles from the launch site, but you can still hear the rockets. We watched the rocket until the first stage separated.
I have a new subscriber to the blog, Arnie Green. Arnie lived across the street from us when I was in elementary school. Welcome Arnie!
