Ocean View, NJ Part 3

You can skip this blog if you don't care about RV Parks.

The place we are staying is called Lake and Shore RV Resort. They can probably remove the RV part since 75% of the resort is permanent cabins. At least at this resort, they don't allow people to live there like some Thousand Trails parks do. All sites (permanent and transient) are just for vacations. Most of the permanents are park models and only a few are trailers parked there all the time. Here is what they look like.

Here is what the RV section of the park looks like.

It's not a bad place, but the RV section needs work. The grass and weeds around our trailer need to be cut. The roads are dusty dirt and there is a gravel pit next door.

The dogs like the path around the lake, but they don't like the fact that there is no dog park.

From talking to some the people around here, this place gets very crowded in the summer time. They have a lot of stuff for kids to do. They have the lake, a pool, a water park, a baseball diamond, basketball courts, and other stuff. The water park is not open yet. They are cleaning it up for it's opening in June.

If you want more stuff to do, you can go to Sea Isle. It is one of the New Jersey barrier islands. It kind of reminded us of Myrtle Beach, with all the hotels and miniature golf places, but less tacky. Myrtle Beach is pretty tacky.

We rate this place about average for RV parks. Maybe a little above average for Thousand Trails parks.
