The trailer is fixed! We have a home again. That may be a bit over the top since it was only gone for 3 days.
We had a scare with the trailer. I called the RV shop yesterday to ask if the trailer was going to be ready. The manager lady was surprised, she didn't know we needed the trailer back because we lived in it. It sounded like it wasn't going to be ready. Fortunately the shop manager remembered we were going to live in it and he knew we needed it soon. He said the service techs were working like a NASCAR pit crew and it would be ready on time. It was.
Here are some shots of Robin's guest house.
That first shot is the view from the front windows. The second shot is the guest house. The third shot is inside. The fourth shot is Brie making herself comfortable. The fifth shot is from outside looking in. The sixth shot is a turkey that took over the deck.
Brie loves Robin and Loen's house. They have a big yard so I would just open the door and let the dogs go outside to potty. Brie took that as an invitation to go off exploring. I have mentioned before that Brie loves wooden walkways, well, Robin and Loen have a wooden bridge over the creek to get to the house. To Brie, that is an invitation. She would run from the guest house, over the bridge and stand at the front door. Sometimes, Robin would let her in.
Brie also loved the yard. There are lots of rocks in the creek and she would go trotting out on the rocks and even jump from rock to rock. I went out on the rocks to take some of the close up pictures of the waterfall and Brie was right there with me. Porter stayed on the banks.
The guest house is very nice and we felt bad that we had to unruly dogs. It was a lot of work trying to clean and dry the dogs before they came in. It rained a bit so their paws were always muddy and we didn't want to get dirty paw prints on the leather furniture. I think we were mostly successful.
Speaking of rain, here are some before shots of the creek and waterfall.
Now, here are some shots after the rain started.
