Another long day of trying to driving around with the dogs while waiting for the trailer.
See those three mountains in the background? The one on the left is Mt. Bachelor and the one in the middle and the 2 on the right are the Three Sisters.
We woke up at 6:30am and got ready to leave the trailer. The RV workers got there around 7am and we were all out the door at 7:15am. We found a breakfast place that allows dogs, but when we got there, they were closed down. Another Covid victim. We gave up at that point and went to Starbucks.
Now it's 8am and we still have a day to kill. We found a scenic drive called The Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway. It was scenic with snow covered mountains, lots of pine trees, and lots of mountain lakes.
The first picture is Mt. Bachelor. If you zoom in, you can see all the ski runs. The other mountains are the Three Sisters. That killed a couple of hours.
The dogs were getting restless so we found a dog park in La Pine.
That's Jan and Porter way back there. Brie is off somewhere playing with the other dogs. There were 4 dogs when we got there and 4 more showed up later. Brie was in heaven. Porter was not in heaven. He doesn't like other dogs so he stayed near us and only went off to play with Brie after he calmed down (it took about 30 minutes for that). All of us were dusty after that.
For lunch, we went to downtown Bend to the 10 Barrel Brewery. There were other dogs there so Porter was barky. Everyone else had fun, only Porter didn't.
We went back to the trailer at around 2:30. They weren't done yet, but we stayed in the living room while they finished. The owner of the place and the guy who built the cabinets came in and talked while 2 other guys finished the install.
They look pretty good. It smells like stain in the trailer, but they did a good job matching the existing cabinets. The counter top is just plywood for now. We will fix that later.
