This is our last stop of 2021.
There is a lot of garlic around here. We saw fields of it since we went through Gilroy. There are also lots of wineries and breweries that I hope do not have garlic.
Pinnacles National Park is near here so we may go and see that. It is the newest national park. The weather here will be colder but clearer so we should be able to get out of the trailer. Plymouth might have been better, but all the rain and mud kept is in the trailer the whole time. We didn't even take the dogs out for many walks because they came in wet and muddy. A wet and muddy dog immediately shakes when going inside.
The trip from Plymouth to here was terrible. It was so bumpy that the valence over the dining table was knocked off the wall. The towel rack, the laundry bag, and lots of loose stuff were knocked off walls and whatever they were placed on. The valence was the hardest to put back since it involved taking off 2 shades and putting new holes in the wall to hold everything.
Since the last post, we spent Christmas Day over at Suzanne's house. This was for Tom's side of the family. The rest of the time was spent trying to stay warm and dry. We did have snow one day, but it just fell, it didn't stick on the ground or anything else.
Here is how we decorated the trailer.
We had a fireplace on the TV, an electric fireplace, lots of lights and Porter trying to destroy everything.
In beer news, I thought I would try one of my Maple Stouts early. Nope, it was too early. I will let all the rest wait until February. We will be spending 3 weeks at Desert Hot Springs so I will be able to brew up one or two more batches. I have enough supplies for 6 batches of beer. The big problem is that I don't have enough bottles to hold that much. I may have to buy one more 128oz pressurized growler. With a new one and my old one, that will hold an entire batch of beer and I won't have to wait 3 weeks before drinking.
