That's what it says on a sign along the way to our RV park. I would not call this area Swamp. Other places have been swampier. Clermont has more actual lakes, creeks, and canals. It also has more hills than any other part of Florida we've seen yet.
This park is more of a marina than an RV resort. There are only 10 RV sites, and 10 rental tiny homes. I guess the owner wants to turn it into a resort, but it's not quite there yet. There are more old park model homes in here and I guess he won't evict anyone, just wait until they move out, then replace the old building with a new tiny home or RV spot.
The marina has a bar and they have food trucks every weekend. There was one here today, but we stayed home and tried out chicken wings in the new air fryer.
We went to the bar yesterday. It's not a full bar, just beer, wine and a few mixed drinks. They cater to the boater crowd. There is a beach for boaters to land and come have a drink. While we were there, a patio boat came in and they had a puppy that looked a lot like Porter. The little girl brought her mom and her puppy over to meet Porter. Their dog is a Shitzu and Poodle mix (a Shitz-poo?). Up close, Dixie (the puppy) has longer, straighter fur, but her coloring was like Porter.

The site they put us in is barely long enough for the trailer. I had to go outside and watch when we got a new neighbor across the road. He came really close the trailer but didn't hit it. He did run over one panel of our dog fence. Oh well. That's less damage than I did. I broke a water pipe when I was parking the trailer. Luckily, the maintenance guys were able to fix it without having to call the city to turn off the water. I don't know if they will bill me for it.
I have at least 2 blogs worth of stuff for Daytona, but I am not ready yet. I have a bike week T shirt, but I don't have a picture of it. I have pictures of the motorcycles, but I need to work on them. I will write them up soon.
