The Poconos Part 2

It has not been good weather since we got here.

This is a picture of the woods behind the trailer in the rain. It rained on Saturday and Sunday, and on Monday, it was cold and cloudy. Today, it is sunny and even colder and a little windy.

The park we are staying at is called Timothy Lake South. It is pretty nice for a Thousand Trails park. We are up on a ridge, looking out over the rest of the park. At least we would look out over the park if there weren't other trailers across the road from us. Still, the back of site is up against a wooded hill. I saw a deer up by that rock this morning.

Brie wishes there was a dog park. She likes walks, but she prefers running around without a leash. Porter doesn't care either way.

There was a small problem with the site when I hooked up the electricity. It had no electricity. The circuit breaker had pulled out of the fuse box and I had to push it back in for things to work. No problems since then.

We took a drive down a scenic road yesterday. It took us out into the woods and past several lakes. It would have been more scenic if there were fewer hunting and fishing clubs out there. They put up chain link fences with barb wire at the top all around their property. That and all the No Trespassing - No Hunting signs mess up the view. Besides hunting and fishing clubs, there are a lot of campgrounds here. They run from primitive tent campgrounds to campgrounds that are all fancy cabins.

I didn't take any pictures of the drive because I was driving. Maybe next time.
