That's it. We're done. If anyone wants any tips or advice about the nomadic lifestyle, give me a buzz.

That's the sunset over our backyard.
Let's go back to last week.
Monday was nice and quiet. We had already boxed up everything we could and moved a bunch of boxes to the storage unit. I think we took 3 loads to the storage unit. Anyway, we were done with all that and we just sat around.
Tuesday (Valentine's Day) was signing day. We dropped off Brie at day care and drove to south Houston. There we signed our life away for the next 30 years. Then we had to drive all the way back north. It was about an hour each way. We picked up Brie and went to the housing development office and picked up the keys. Then we went to our house and checked it out. It was an empty house, but it was our empty house.
Wednesday (Jan's Birthday): We got up early to drop Brie off at daycare again and then meet the movers at the storage unit. We arrived at the storage unit at about 8:15 and waited for the movers to get there. We got everything loaded up and taken to the house. Most stuff was put in the garage, just a little bit of furniture was put in the house. Jan stayed at the house to wait for the refrigerator I went to pick up Brie. The fridge was delivered while I was gone. We thought about staying the night at the new house, but we didn't have any food or clothes so we went back to the trailer.
Thursday (Our Anniversary) - Moving, moving, moving. We moved everything that was in the trailer to the house. That took 2 more loads. When we got back to the house, we finally started unpacking boxes. We were exhausted that evening and thought we would take the evening off and watch TV. We had the TV set up, but we didn't have the power cord or remote. We watched Amazon Prime Video on the laptop instead.
Friday - We went back to the trailer and cleaned inside and out. We did a pretty good job. Then we went back home and unpacked more stuff. Oh yeah, we ran to Walmart and found a power cord for the TV and a universal remote. Now we can watch TV.
Saturday (My birthday) - Jan stayed home and unpacked more stuff. I took the trailer to PPL RV and sold the trailer. I got a pretty good price for it. Then I went back home and unpacked more stuff.
Sunday (Today) - Went shopping for things we need. We got a bunch of cabinet and drawer organizers, a new area rug, and we ordered a washer and dryer. We had ordered a set back when we ordered the fridge, but Jan called them and found out the they were on back order and would not be delivered like they said. They would now be delivered on March 10. Nope. We cancelled the order and bought a different pair from Lowe's that was actually in stock. They will be delivered tomorrow.
Thank you everybody who wished me Happy Birthday on Facebook. I've been too busy to respond there.
Here is a picture of Brie from daycare with her new buddy, Rico. Brie is the one on the right.

Here is the final picture of the trailer, our house for the last 2 and a half years.

The next week will be more unpacking and organizing.
