We are settled down for the winter.

Our trailer window is still filthy.

There was a lot of construction here over the summer with more new casitas. There is a lot of construction still going on. To the left of us, they are paving the lot and I don't think they will build a casita. To the right of us, they are building a small casita.

There is a Covid outbreak going on here at the park so we won't be going to any gatherings for a week or so. There is supposed to be a Burger Bash over by the pool today, but it is busy raining. Yuma only has a few rainy days per year, but today is one of them.

The trailer survived the last leg of the trip. Some of my attempts to keep the broken trailer skirt on failed. The ones in the back held, but the ones in the front broke again. We went to Home Depot and I bought some metal plates and straps. I think I can make permanent fixes while we are here.

We tried to set up someone to come and make us a counter top in the pantry, but they said it will take 3 months to do. We aren't here that long so that won't work. We decided to make our own stained plywood top. I have the tools to make one.

House News:

It's moving along. I think we have floors. They pictures they sent show the floors with paper taped down on the ground. They wouldn't try to protect the concrete.

We also have lights and electricity. The microwave is not completely hooked up yet.

Here is the front of the house.

Still no landscaping. The neighbors on both sides are getting irritated about it. All that mud washes into their yards when it rains, and it is the rainy season now. They could have at least put down those straw rolls down along the property lines to stop it.
